Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's run on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Nearly 500 runners enjoyed a wonderful morning in our event that will benefit so many local agencies. This year's 1 mile walk/run started at 8:15 a.m. and our 5K/10K began at 8:30 a.m. All times were completed in a timely fashion. Our 1 mile awards were given within many age categories at around 8:45 a.m. Our 5K awards were given in several categories around 9:30 a.m. and our 10K awards were given around 9:45 a.m. Click "Results" above to see this year's results which are now available. Thank you again for all the support!
Next year will mark the 15th annual Chase the Bear Run (formerly known as the Rotary Run for Glenview), our annual community event and fundraiser. It will again feature 10K, 5K, and 1 mile races and a 1 mile family fun-run and walk. There will be live entertainment and an emcee with prizes, food, and refreshments. There will be plenty of free parking and bathrooms nearby.
